Genesee County Mini EdCamp
Saturday: January 23, 2016 (FREE event) seating is limited
What is Edcamp?
A new type of professional learning network that can provide innovative ideas, current resources, and solid educational practices on January 23, 2016 at the Genesee ISD. The “EdCamp” style of professional development is devoted to K-12 educators. EdCamp is a new conference model built on collaboration.
- Unlike traditional conferences, sessions are not planned or scheduled until the morning of the event.
- Actual sessions range from basic conversations around teaching methods to sharing digital projects and ideas.
- Many have a technology focus and include sessions about using technology in the classroom, however a technology focus is not necessary.
- A high school student panel will be included. These are students working in the field of technology for local businesses.
Participants at the Genesee Mini EdCamp Winter Blast will be able to make choices about facilitating a session, leading discussions, or attending sessions. Attendees will connect with each other on a professional level to share ideas, network and learn from each other.
Registration for this event will be FREE for all attendees! You won't want to miss this most unique opportunity to learn!
