Appalachian Mountains
The Appalachian Mountains is one of the oldest mountains in the U.S.A. The Appalachian mountains were formed over 250 years ago. And formed before the dinosaurs came. The mountains run through Canada, Saint Pierre, Miquelon and the U.S.A. The Appalachian Mountains is a system of mountains in eastern north America. The Appalachian trail is 2,184 miles long. The Appalachian mountains attracts travelers because its wet and cool. The mountains is made out of sedimentary rock, Volcano rock and the ocean floor. The mountains run across 15 states.
States in the South
There is 17 states in the south. Here are the states: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington D.C, Maryland, Delaware, Kentucky, Tennessee.
Waterways
The Everglades
The Everglades is the home of alligators and the home of 14 endangered species and 9 threatened species. It is the continuous land of saw grass prairie in North America. There are things called threats. They are animals, and people that are doing something bad to a place, person, and animals. Some of the threats in the Everglades is the Nile Monitor, the Cuban tree Frog, and the Burmese Python. They all are animal threats. The Cuban tree frog eats smaller native frogs in the Everglades. The Nile Monitor eats Burrow owls and crocodile eggs. And the Burmese Python is even none for Praying on Alligators. Two million acre wetland ecosystem that reaches from central Florida, near Orlando all the way South to Florida Bay.
The Mississippi River
The river was named Mici Zibi wich, it means great river. About 4oo million tons of mud are carried have every year by Farmlands. The Alligators in the Mississippi River love the marshes there. The length of the Mississippi River is 2,320 miles long. It goes through the U.S.A. The Mississippi mouth is the gulf of Mexico. The Mississippi River and it’s floodplain are home to a diverse population of living things.

Disney world
The Walt Disney World Resort is the size of San Francisco. Disney World is in Orlando Florida. One of Disney worlds parks, Animal Kingdom, has over a million species of trees and 3,000 species of animals on the animal kingdom safari. Cinderella’s castle is made out of fiberglass and the castle stand 189 feet tall. Walt Disney died because of lung cancer on December 15, 1966 before even a shovel of dirt was shoveled to build Disney world. Minnie mouse has over 200 outfits and Mickey mouse has over 250. Epcot means, Experimental Projects of tomorrow. When Disney world first open, adult admission to get into Disney world was $3.50 and today it cost $85!
Montezuma castle
The Montezuma Castle attracts 350,000 people each year. It is 5 stories tall, it has 20 rooms, and it’s a big stone castle. The Montezuma Castle became a national monument in 1906. Theodore Roosevelt made it a national park in 1906. The Montezuma Castle is in Arizona. It was built in the 1300, that was over 800 years ago. The first Tourist Came in 1933. It's only $5 per person to enter. It is not open after dark.
