Wednesday: No math due to Holiday Concert

Thursday: Review for End of Module Assessment

Friday: End of Module 3 Assessment

4H Fun

The students participated in two different 4H programs last week. One program was all about metric measurement. The highlight was the students created Puff Mobiles using materials like Life Savers and straws. They also participated in a program on seismology where they learned about earthquakes and the different waves they produce. They had lots of fun!

ELA

The students have been loving our unit on Natural Disasters in Reader's Workshop. Each student is finishing up their research this week. Research teams are putting together their presentations using Google Slides. We will all be weather experts by the end of this week!

In writer's workshop, we are making big moves this week. We are transitioning from personal essays to persuasive essays. Students will learn how to strengthen their argument by adding reasons and supporting facts.
