Records Were Broken!
Friday marked the closing ceremonies for the 5th Annual school-wide Trackfest in Physical Education. All students participated in such events as the 100 yard dash, the Mile Run, the Long Jump, the High Jump, Shot Put, and the Relay Races. It is such a motivating event that includes and encourages all students.
Our overall team winner was: GREEN!!
Our top points earners for each grade level are:
6th Boy: Elijah Brown

7th Boy: Elijah Anderson
7th Girl: Zoe Florence
8th Boy: Tyler Webb
8th Girl: Isabella Kolstad-Khan
Thanks to Mr. Beer, Mrs. Dieda, Mr. Gray, Mrs. Mason, and Mrs. Wood for all their hard work to make this possible for all the Junior Oilers!
8th Grade Promotion Reminders
Student's in Mrs. August's class were dissecting cow eyes to learn all about how vision works. Students were able to describe and name the various parts of the eyeball. Hands-on learning is so powerful!
Dance PE students had an opportunity to show off their talents during an evening performance this week. Each group of students choreographed their own dances and performed with style!
The Strings are Alive!
Dwyer's String Orchestra had a wonderful performance this week in the auditorium. Mr. Mationg and Mr. Reyes do amazing work with our students!
