Benchmark Testing for 3rd Grade - April 1st and 2nd
If you have a 3rd grader, please make sure he/she gets plenty of rest and eats a healthy breakfast on Monday and Tuesday. Please schedule medical appointments for after school on those days to ensure your child can complete the benchmarks during the time period.
If you are visiting campus on those days, please be aware that students will be taking the benchmarks in multiple locations throughout the building. We do ask that parents not visit 3rd graders for lunch on benchmark days. Thank you for your help in keeping our hallways quiet on those days.

Parent Survey Link
In Lago Vista ISD, we strive to continuously improve the learning conditions and environment for our students. Candid feedback from our parents provides us with crucial information to help us realize this mission. Below is the link to our annual parent survey. The links are campus specific, so if you have students on multiple campuses, you will get multiple emails.
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PPSM3SC
The survey will take approximately 12 minutes to complete. Your feedback is completely confidential. Comment boxes are provided for detailed feedback and you can be assured that they are thoughtfully read and considered.
This survey will close on April 8th.

Counselor's Corner
Hello LVES Families! In our guidance classes this month we have been learning about the effects of name-calling, and creating our own “What’s in a Name” posters that contain positive traits that go with the letters in our name. We are also wrapping up our lessons on being Trustworthy. Students have been learning the meaning and value of being a trustworthy, honest, and responsible person, and that they can show that they are trustworthy by demonstrating in their words and actions that people can believe them, and depend on them to do the right thing. As parents, you can also teach your children the importance of knowing who they can trust.
Thank you for continuing to support all of our efforts at LVES to have a safe, responsible, and respectful climate at our school!
"We need people in our lives with whom we can be as open as possible. To have real conversation with people may seem like such a simple, obvious suggestion, but it involves courage and risk." ~Thomas Moore
~Thomas Moore
