Lorenzo de Medici was a Italian statesman. He was a poet. His father was one of the towering figures of the Renaissance. He ruled Florence after his father and grand father died.
Significance
After his grand father and dad died Lorenzo managed to keep the peace and balance of power between the northern Italian states and other European states like France, rulers out of Italy.
