Parent Camp 2019 Focuses on Issues Facing Kids Today

Whether you are the parent of a kindergartener or a high school senior, Northville Public Schools’ Parent Camp 2019 has something for you. Parent Camp will take place the morning of Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Northville High School, 45700 Six Mile Road, in Northville. The morning kicks off at 8:30 a.m. with refreshments and resources. Then more than 20 break-out sessions get under way at 9:00 a.m. and will be completed by 12:30 p.m.

New to Parent Camp this year is a session for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade called Kids Empowered. While their parents attend Parent Camp sessions, Kids Empowered participants will rotate through five stations where they will learn practical skills that will help them navigate challenging social situations both in and outside of school. Parents will also have a chance to attend a related Kids Empowered session through Parent Camp so they can reinforce these skills with their children at home. There is a $10 fee for Kids Empowered and participation is limited to the first 80 registered students.

More information on the Parent Camp, Kids Empowered, optional documentary and registration can be found at the following link:
