Community & Stakeholder Relations
"The art of communication is the language of leadership."
Community Partnerships
Schools, along with numerous individuals in the surrounding community, help prepare our students for future endeavors. Schools can not give students all aspects that they need to be successful adults. Therefore, it is important for schools to consider and involve the surrounding community in its' activities and news updates.
Special Events
It is important to remember to include all parents and stakeholders during special events. Grandparents Day, Muffins for Mom, Donuts for Dad, Leadership Day, and Awards Day are just a few things stakeholders can attend.
Use of Facilities
Encourage non-profit community organizations to use school facilities. This gives the school the opportunity to get involved and help those around them while giving back at the same time.
Partners in Education
It is important for the school to partner with local businesses and organizations. There are so many helpful partners in education that surround our schools that we frequently forget about. Use these free resources to help our students achieve their highest potential.
Parent Communication
To maintain a positive environment between school to home, it is important to remember that communication is the key. Parents need to be informed of what is going on and when. By developing strong commination skills, the school can build strong relationships amongst parents.
Open and Welcome Communication
It is important for a school, teachers, and administrators to be able to be reached at all times. Parents need to feel welcomed to ask questions and speak to faculty and staff.
