Greetings Tiger Parents,
Parents please be reminded that school starts promptly at 7:55 and our Tardy bell rings at 8:05. It is important that you make sure that your child arrives to school on time to ensure that they are not missing any instructional time. Also parents not only is it important that our students arrive to school on time but that they present at school daily so they can receive their maximum amount of instructional time. Also parents it is important that we maintain current contact information for each of our students. With that being said please make sure that if phone numbers or addresses are changed that you communicate those changes to the front office so that we can update the information in PowerSchool which will allow us to be able to maintain communication with you concerning your child and activities that are taking place at Williamston Primary. Music: Music class is brimming with instruments and the study of instrument families and timbre. Students will play glockenspiels and read melodic phrases next week. They continue to learn about China (Chinese culture, music, and instruments) as we anticipate special guests coming from Riverside Middle School in February! The “100th Day of School”, Valentine’s Day, Dental Health Month, Black History Month is on the horizon! We sing songs about all of those special occasions.
