My husband is a Buckaroo alumnus and a Fort Worth firefighter. We have a freshman at Tarleton in Stephenville this year.


Where did you grow up (hometown)?

Cross plains, Tx.

Grand Canyon University

First year teacher


Describe your favorite teacher growing up.

Mrs. Stambaugh, my fourth grade teacher, was patient, kind, and encouraging.


What was your favorite subject in school?

History


Why did you choose education as a career choice?

I love helping children learn and seeing their aha moments.


What does success look like in your classroom?

Students having the conference to take the next step no matter how difficult it may seem.


What is your favorite or funniest "teaching moment?"

Kindergarten student asking me to be their teacher forever.
