Our Panthers have been busy!
Spelling Bee
Congratulations to our champions! Noemi Gomez, gr.8 - first place; Princess Gonzales, gr. 8 - second place; Hailey Rivera, gr. 6 - third place.
Working Hard in Class
Our teachers are always looking for ways to engage our students in lessons that promote problem solving, productivity, and creative thinking. Walk into any classroom to see great examples of what our Panthers can do!
Kindness Week
Our counselors put on a week of special activities during lunch to celebrate Kindness Week. Lots of thoughtful notes were written, cards were made, and students participated in a scavenger hunt for kind words hidden around the quad.
In February, we celebrate Black History Month
Thank you counselors for all you do!
Enjoy the long weekend!
Lunch time clubs are up and running!
Blackstock is happy to offer several different lunch time clubs and activities to keep our Panthers busy in a positive way during lunch break!
The Blackstock Wellness Center will be opening soon!
We are so thrilled to be setting up our new Wellness Center on the Blackstock campus and can't wait to invite everyone to come see it during Open House! The construction is complete and the furniture was delivered this week, so now it's just a matter of making it beautiful and inviting for our students, staff, and families. We have added some new support staff who are going to be amazing assets to our school and community.
Free Parent Project Classes
Please join us! We are happy to announce that the Parent Project English classes will be starting on February 20th. The classes will be hosted at EO Green from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
Tardy Detention
If your student arrives late to first period more than once or to 2nd or 3rd period at all, they will be asked to serve a Friday afternoon detention to help them remember that being on time to class is very important! Thank you for your support.
