iReady Plans - WINDOW OPENS NOVEMBER 26 - DECEMBER 13
You must be with your students while they take the MOY iReady. This time of year is when the biggest gains show up and we need to ensure that students do their best! Also, 3rd and 4th iReady schedule should look like MAP. ALL should let parents know the days you plan to test.
K-2 you can have kids take the test during small group at the table with you there to ensure they do their best or go to computer lab with them. Look for open spots in the lab if you would like more time or a different time.
December Early Dismissal So Far...
Karen, Michelle, Debbie F., Lindsey, Beth, Charity, Cathy, Jen, Debbie H., and Jenny!
If others are interested please complete the classroom visits by the end of November!
Be observing constantly. Stay open minded. Be eager to learn and improve.

Peer Classroom Visits Ideas - thanks for taking time to learn from one another:)
Here are two entries by people who visited other classrooms and their take away thoughts. I will keep sharing so you can hear of great ideas as well!
*Flexible seating and how to use it by students selecting their "assigned" spot to keep for a week or two to avoid student conflicts. *Week in Review" to give students the time to catch up on their weekly unfinished work and continue to work on needed skills. *The cardboard dividers are wonderful to use during testing or to help a distracted student focus better. *Look into www.getepic.com and check what it may offer my students with reading. *Post a bar graph to show if students are meeting their weekly Lexia and Dreambox goals.

Staff Attendance
As a reminder it is the expectation that you let me know when you plan to be gone as well to help us prepare for the possibility of moving people around for coverage.
At the mid year point I will share with each staff member the number of absences used so far this year.
