A Nerdy November!
The major literacy event for Long Island is coming in just a few days- nErD Camp LI! Teachers, coaches, administrators, authors, and illustrators will come together to talk all things reading and writing. Several LIWP members are planning on presenting. We would love to see you there!

Time: 8:30-2:30
Place: Willets Road School, Rosyln Heights
Students are invited to an author meet and greet from 2:30-3:30. Be sure to spread the word to your students!

"Friday Writes" Writing Group- This Friday, November 6th
All are welcome to come share your writing and provide feedback and support to other teachers/writers in the LIWP. Meetings will be held at 359 Hazelhurst Avenue, on the Nassau Community College Campus in Garden City. Meetings will take place from 4pm- 7pm.
