December 2022 - Clark Updates

December

November was a special month at Jeffrey Clark School. Progress reports and Parent-Teacher Conferences were important to update families on student academic and social development.

Veteran's Luncheon, Parent Visitation Day, the Turkey Trot, Second-Grade Scarecrow creations, and the First-Grade Balloon parade were just a few highlights from the month of November. Connections, relationships, and a sense of community were felt throughout the building.

In December, we will celebrate festive Thursdays and enjoy our Winter Concert on December 16, 2022. Two tickets will be provided to each child for the Winter Concert. Four or Five classes from each grade level will sing during designated concert times. We look forward to a meaningful and fun month ahead.

The EG Tree Lightening is Tuesday, 11/29/22 at Thompson Family Park, and Give A Gift Night is Wednesday, 11/30/22.

Students have an early dismissal, 12:55 PM, on December 22nd. The building is closed to our students from December 23, 2022, through January 2, 2023. School opens for the New Year on January 3, 2023.

Just a few reminders for audience members:

  • Each person in attendance, even younger siblings, will need a ticket as we do have a limit for maximum capacity in the gymnasium.

  • Food and Drinks are not permitted in the gymnasium.

  • We kindly ask that all audience members remain seated during the performance.

  • If there is a need to stand, please do so in the back of the gymnasium, behind the last row.

Please park in the overflow lot and enter the multi-purpose room through the glass atrium entrance at the back of the gym. For security reasons, guests must remain in the multipurpose room and are not permitted to enter the hallways. If you feel unwell on the day of our concert, please stay home.

Student safety is our highest priority and your cooperation will be appreciated.
