HORIZON ELEMENTARY
Home of the Red-Tailed Hawks
JUNE 2021
Hello Horizon Community,
This is a short month of school with many fun activities for our students. We encourage all students to participate in our dress up days:
June 3 - Mismatch Day
June 4 - Hat Day
June 7 - Fancy Clothes Day
June 8 - Horizon t-shirt or Favorite t-shirt Day
and a surprise dance party on one of these days!
We have James the Magician joining us this Thursday afternoon via zoom. We look forward to eating lunch on our back patio. We will say goodbye to our fabulous 5th graders on Thursday, June 10 during three mini recognition events.
Do not forget to turn in digital devices before the summer unless your child is attending summer school.
I hope you all have a restful and fun summer with your family. Find some time to check out our amazing Sun Prairie Library.
Cheers!

Reach out to Karen at president@horizonsco.org or any of the current officers.
important summer dates
nurse's notes
The 2020-2021 school year is quickly coming to a close.
If your student has medication at school, please make arrangements to pick it up by the last day of school---unless they are going to summer school. Per district policy, medication cannot be sent home with students. If you prefer that we dispose of the medication, please let us know.
Already planning for next year? Please click on the following link for more information about meds at school: Medication Administration information
Finally, please consider donating your student’s outgrown pants to the health office. We are most in need of boys athletic pants and girls leggings: size 6, 7/8 and 10/12.
Thank you, and have a great summer!
