News from the Principal's Office
A&M Consolidated High School
Reflections from 10-31-16
Last week, we began our Season of Thanks, and I would like to personally thank you for being such an amazing, supportive, and dedicated staff.
Though each day brings new opportunities and challenges, your unwavering commitment to our school family is appreciated. My challenge to you this week is for you to examine how you are incorporating student voice. Clearly, the teacher cannot be the gatekeeper of knowledge, but provide students opportunities for students to process, verbalize, and reflect on their learning to make learning stick. Thus, let me encourage you to read, "Finding Out What Students Are Thinking: 10 Tools to Get Them Talking" to examine instructional practices to learn how to hear from our students.
This is Your Moment to Shine!
