Women's History Month - Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment & the Right to Vote
The Student Council has worked on a variety of different tasks this season. Lily, Lyla, Emily T., Emily M., and Addison (not pictured) collaborated on this wonderful display by the Cafe. A few other Council members interviewed someone about a woman he/she felt was inspirational. A couple of these are featured below and more will be in the next newsletter.

#DLD2020
February 27th was Digital Learning Day that is an international celebration of innovative teaching and learning. This is our 7th year participating in this event because it provides us an opportunity to reflect on our journey towards realizing our vision of being a model 21st century school. Over the years, our teachers have expanded their instructional repertoire by tasking risks and challenging themselves to learn new platforms in order to find ways to purposefully integrate technology. Books, paper, pencils, crayons, and such will always be an important part of the elementary experience. We do, however, recognize that our classrooms need to stay relevant and support our students for the demands of their future.
This year's event was better than ever. Every grade level teacher as well as special area teachers and specialists showcased a variety of different apps and programs. We saw coding, Seesaw, Keynote, Beebot robots, Numbers, and more. We have come a long way and we will continue to reach higher for our students!
