IT IS ON!!!

Yep, we really are starting in-person classes on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. We have written many "protocols" about how we will be keeping things safe. I will paste the link to the whole document below.

For now, I just want to say, "Welcome Back!!"

In our first few days there will be a lot of "learning to be safe while we learn" and while we are at it, we will do some refresher lessons (at appropriate levels) for the kids to effectively do remote/online learning. We will also be addressing the social/emotional side of things. I admit, I am not an expert in talking about feelings, but this has been a big deal for the kids (and parents) to be away from school for so long. We will start slow so we can go fast later and not leave anyone behind.

We will produce more newsletters in the near future, but for now, check out these links so you know our plans. Please be sure to update lunch and after school information.

One last reminder, this year primary kids come in the door by the kindergarten, intermediate kids come in the door by 5th grade, adults, kids eating breakfast, and pre-schoolers come in the main entrance. There is a reason for all of it.

School opens at 9:15 and classes start at 9:30am. See you Tuesday!!

Thanks

Doug Hayman
