Dear Families,
We are excited to share with you that we will be offering a Summer Success Program.
A2 Virtual+ Elementary Summer Success Program is a flexible, self-paced learning opportunity created to honor and leverage the knowledge, skills, and abilities that all families bring to student learning. This program, designed for students who are currently Young 5s through 4th grade, will focus on maintaining and extending literacy and math skills, by providing targeted lessons to meet individual interests and needs of students.
Students will independently access lesson materials in order to complete 4 to 5 lessons in math and literacy each week. The lessons are self-guided and interactive and will be accessed via Schoology.
Students will provide evidence of learning through the submission of assignments.
The teacher will provide quality feedback and guidance. This includes hosting regular drop-in hours and scheduling sessions with individual and small groups as needed. Teachers will also schedule sessions with students via Zoom to assess their progress. These conferences are scheduled at a mutually convenient time and are required.
The program will run from July 5, 2021 through August 13, 2021. Registered Participants will be invited to participate in a live conference with an AAPS teacher prior to the start of the program to ensure programming meets the student’s interest and individual learning needs.
Registration will open on April 26th.
