Be the Difference

We are partnering with SASO (Scholars and Athletes Serving Others) of Southlake to replenish the stock for the Battered Women's Foundation in North Richland Hills. The demands of the last year have really created a need, sadly... Thank you SASO for seeing a need and inviting us to partner with them!

May 3 – 14, we will be collecting donations to support families in need. Please bring to the library any of the following:

New towels

Gently used women’s / teen clothes

New packages of underwear for boys/girls of all ages

Bottled water

Capri suns and juice boxes

Individual snacks for kids

Looking Ahead to STAAR Testing

Similar to the format of our Interim Assessments, your student will be taking their STAAR reading and Math exams online this year. Students will take their exams on varied days depending on their homeroom teacher. Please see the schedule below and mark your calendars accordingly.

Library Books

May 3-7 is the last week to check out library books (last library class and check-out). All books are due back May 14th (with the exception of 3rd graders taking STAAR needing a book for after their test).

Counselor's Corner

Counselor's Corner

As you may have heard, our school counselor, Mrs. Johnston, is on medical leave for the foreseeable future. Please direct concerns or questions to Nicole Williams, Assistant Principal.

The core value for the month of April is peace, proving you care more about each other than winning an argument.

CAR SIGNS FOR STUDENT PICK-UP

Thank you for helping us get your children to your cars in a secure manner in the afternoons by displaying your child’s name on the JES watermarked sign.

If you should ever get to the car line and realize you do not have your sign, go straight to the office instead of waiting in the car line. Otherwise, the teachers on the walkie-talkies will have to send you to the office anyway. You must have the JES watermarked sign for your child’s name to be called.

Birthday Treat Policy Change

Only district birthday treats are allowed this year due to safety regulations for COVID. For more information please visit the website.

Transportation Changes

In order to ensure that the message is received. Please be sure to send notification of any transportation change to the front office before 2:00.
