I believe I have the traits necessary to succeed in this profession. I love being in a natural environment interacting with various living creatures/organisms. Building safe, healthy sanctuaries for these creatures is an important part of this career. I believe in taking care of the world God provided us so our future generations can enjoy it as much as I do.

Work schedule varies depending on weather conditions and occurrence of natural or man made disasters. The environment can be harsh at times and conditions are very dependent on weather patterns or seasonal changes.
Why I like Marine Biology...
Marine Biologist interact with many different species of aquatic life and travel to many different locations. We have opportunities to preserve the environment around us and make the world a better place.

Attend Harding University in Searcy, AR to attain a 4 year biology degree then move to Texas A&M University Corpus Christi for masters degree in Marine Biology. I would like to start out at Harding because it is a Christian university fairly close to my home town and has a great biology program. Texas A&M has a great masters program in Marine Biology.
Educational Expense
A 4 year degree at Harding University currently costs approx. $25,000 per year. By the time I am ready for college, it will cost approximately $125,000 to obtain my Bachelors Degree. A year at Texas A&M Corpus Christi for the masters program will cost approximately $20,000.
