mass reflections
The Gospel today told us about how Judas betrayed Jesus. I learned all about it. It was sad. I know that if I betray my friend, it would hurt her, but it would hurt me more. I know because of the Gospel and Judas betrayed Jesus so he could have more. It hurt him so much, and he realized that he made a bad mistake.
- Keeley, grade 3
When you betray someone, you do not feel good. What Judas did brought him sadness. We need to not betray others.
- Anniston, grade 3
Judas betrayed Jesus so he could have more. It gave him pain. To find happiness, you have to find holiness. He should have realized that when you follow Jesus, you will always have enough and be happy. We have to work on getting better and resist temptations to betray Jesus by sinning.

Gospel Reading This Sunday
Gospel for Sunday, April 4 (Easter):
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John.
Early on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the tomb. So she ran and went to Simon Peter and the other disciple, and said to them, "The have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not where they have laid him." Then Peter and the other disciple set out and went toward the tomb. The other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. Then Simon Peter came, and went into the tomb. He saw the linen wrappings lying there, and the cloth that had been on Jesus' head, not lying with the linen wrappings but rolled up in a place by itself. Then the other disciple also went in, and he saw and believed.
The Gospel of the Lord.
