Instructional Focus - CAASPP! (STILL A FOCUS!)
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR TOMS REPORT MATCHES CALPADS. ANY DISCREPANCIES MAY HAVE A NEGATIVE IMPACT ON YOUR AYP. Please notify Enrique, Lauren, Ryan and David ASAP if you have any errors.

- How have we set them up for success?
Take notes of the testing process and use them to reflect upon how we can improve. And as always, if you need support, please reach out to David, Marie, or Ryan!
News, Helpful Hints, and Reminders
From the Academic Team -
- Directors - please make sure to complete your scorecards! Offer letters will be coming out soon.
- LACOE is hosting an informational session on CA's proposed new accountability system regarding LCFF and LCAP. Marie is already planning on attending, but Directors are also welcome to attend. Register here: http://rsdss.k12oms.org/510-112071
- Directors - Please continue the process for the LCAP Annual Update. (Refer to the Timeline of Activities that Marie sent on Friday). If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Marie or Ryan!
- Directors - if you received an email regarding reporting for Federal Cash Management, please note that ExEd will be handling the report. Any questions, ask Luis.
- Up2Us Sports Southern California is excited to announce a free 3 hour training on May 11 funded by the California Endowment on how to design your sports based youth development program to be trauma sensitive. Directors - please discuss with your PE/PEP staff. If your staff is registering, they must let Jackie know. Registration is here: http://homecourt.up2us.org/event/traumasensitivesbyd
- 1) 2016-17 Enrollment must be in Illuminate as of 4/25/16. This means all "new" enrollment packets are 100% in Illuminate, as well as students being identified with Inner ICEF Transfers. In addition, any pending Intent to Return needs to be captured by this Friday in Illuminate. CRC's- this is be a top priority for this week.
2) Testing Coordinators: PLEASE REVIEW TOMS, CALPADS AND ILLUMINATE rosters consistently. It's the Testing Coordinators responsibility to review these rosters to ensure everyone is where they need to be. SIC's are responsible for providing the ODS Reports from CALPADS and making changes in CALPADS. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE DAY BEFORE OR A WEEK BEFORE TO REVIEW. Lauren has sent several emails with follow up.
3) Inactive Cum Files are due by Friday 4/29/16 to Lanise. Ensure that corresponding rosters are with each box. Please make sure you send the digital document with rosters to ICEFCompliance@icefps.org. Pick up/drop off arrangements will be coordinated by Lanise with SIC and/or SOM.
4) Title 1 Audit: Please send requested documents to Behzad, Enrique and Ryan ASAP.
5) If you have any After School grows and glows, please address it with Enrique and Ryan.
Celebrations and Worth Noticing -
- From the Ops Team - Kudos to everyone for their amazing work with this years Instructional Minutes, Meal Applications, CELDT and Attendance. Our Auditors gave us praise on a smooth and compliant process. Very Delicioso!
- On behalf of the Arts Team and the talented students across the ICEF organization, thank you to all who attended this weekend's Beauty Within exhibition. The production of Beauty and the Beast was AMAZING, and the visual arts exhibit was IMPRESSIVE. Special thanks to Jamie McAndrews, Jerod Fish, Pooh Mayo, Patricia Jackson, Behzad Senghadi and all others who helped make this culminating event a success.
