Supply Discovery This week we spent some time learning about our different classroom supplies and the expectations while using them in the classroom. The supplies included, play-doh, scissors, glue, and crayons. | Jackson Pride We began talking about Jackson Pride this week. You will hear a lot about how we need to be respectful, responsible, positive, and safe. We have talked about student "PAWs." As students show Jackson Pride he/she will have the opportunity to earn a "PAW" that they will bring home:). Each student brought one home today. We also earn "class PAW's" if the entire class is showing Jackson Pride. When we receive 10 PAWs we earn a class party. So far we have earned four this week! | Great Start! We have had a great start to our school year! It has been wonderful to get to know your child and start building our classroom community! I will post pictures and video's on your child's Seesaw account. I will post a class picture this afternoon! I look forward to an awesome year together! |

What did we learn this week?
Phonics: We learned the poem "Good Morning To You." This poem began to allow us to learn our friends name in class.
Math: We explored many kinds of math manipulatives that we will be using throughout the year.
*We have also had the opportunity for "extra recess" each day as we build our stamina to learn. The students have had a lot of fun on the playground and in the classroom exploring fun things and making new friends!
