World Read Aloud Day
February 1st is World Read Aloud Day! Click here for more information. Just record your class reading a book and post it for others to enjoy. Then you can watch read aloud videos from other classrooms! If you would like to register, let me know. I'll be happy to help!!
First Lego League
With the assistance of the Kellam CyberKnights, we will be starting a Lego robotics club! First Lego League is open to students in grades 3 and 4. The club will run on Wednesdays in February, March, and April. A detailed letter and schedule will be sent home with students prior to the start of the club. Our hope is to participate in competitions during the fall of 2018. If you are interested in helping, please let me know!

Doodle 4 Google

Digital Choice Board for Parents
Almost 50 students have participated in our Digital Choice Board! Thanks to everyone that posted it in Google Classroom and Seesaw and then followed up with reminders. It made a huge difference! January 12th was the last day, but if a parent asks, please tell them to go ahead and do the activities and complete the Google Form. The incentive won't take place until the week of Jan. 29th, so I will include any students that finish it between now and then.
FETC
I will be out of the building for the week of January 22-26 at a technology conference.
