GO 'FOURTH' AND LEARN
News from Mrs. Priebe's 4th grade class ...
Some highlights:
Thursday was SCIENCE DAY - The day started with an outstanding presentation on the science behind our Christmas toys! Later, we had fun classifying "rocks" (candy bars) in a classroom science investigation. After lunch, the students and I played with science through many hands-on exploration stations! Making our own rockets, visiting a planetarium, and learning about static electricity were a few of our activities! To conclude the day, the students learned about many different chemicals and chemical reactions. BOOM! BOOM! Two very loud explosions... oh, we were excited!!!
Friday was GAME DAY - Students and I celebrated with a scavenger hunt, games, movie, and way too many treats!!! An unforgettable day!!! To wrap up the day, the students were involved in a Christmas sing-along and AR celebration! We duct taped Mrs. Hausmann to a wall. If that wasn't enough, we then slimed her with silly-string!
