Being A Witness To Jesus
We are called...
Matthew 4:18-22
As he passed by the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting their nets into the sea; they were fishermen. Jesus said to them, “Come follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Then they dropped their nets and followed him. He walked along a little farther and saw James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John. They too were in a boat mending their nets. Then he called them. So they left their father Zebedee in the boat along with the hired men and followed him.
Just as the First Disciples were called - we must trust in the Lord, have faith to follow Him and allow Him to work through us to be known to others as witnesses to Christ.

Help support Holy Cross with a chance to win cash prizes!
Holy Cross is participating in the GRACE Schools 2021 Calendar raffle. There are 300 total drawings over the course of 2021 with $10,100 in prize money up for grabs. All winning tickets are placed back in the raffle so you have the potential to win at each drawing! Tickets are $20 each with all proceeds going back to the schools participating.
Information and calendars will be sent home this week in the parent folder, and we are asking for your support in selling 10 tickets per family. These will make great gifts for family, co-workers or friends! If Holy Cross reaches its goal, SAC will award the entire school with a pizza party! Thanks in advance for your continued support.

Holy Cross Shelter Meal Donation
4 times a year our Parish and School community donates and serves a meal at the NEW Community Shelter. It consists of generous donations of homemade beef stew, jello, fruit, bread, and butter. Unfortunately because of Covid-19 this has changed. Please read below, a note from Lou Shea, a Parish member who has lead this wonderful stewardship for years.
November 13th is our normally scheduled meal for the New Community Shelter. Due to Covid, the Board of Health has stopped all volunteers from doing anything with food service. The need still exists.
We can again help in a different way. I’d like to take up a collection from our Holy Cross community and present it to the food service coordinator. They are so in need of all kinds of supplies. The shelter in still serving take-out meals for about 200 men, women, and children, twice a day!
If you would like to contribute please bring your cash or check (written out to Holy Cross) to the Parish office during their open hours. Please note that it is for the shelter. Of course it is tax deductible. No amount is too big or too small. It would be very helpful if you could have your donations in by Wednesday, November 11th. I will pick up one check on Thursday, November 12th from the office and personally deliver it to the shelter.
Please consider helping with this beautiful outreach. You have all been so generous in the past and I thank you so much for that. Our Holy Cross community is truly blessed.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me via email or call me at 920.217.4572
Thank you and God Bless,
Lou Shea
