Band News
We had a good sized group of students audition for Red Carpet Country All-Area Honor Band and many won placement in the Honor Band: 7th Grader Harris Keithly on Trombone, 8th Grader Katy Brashears on Trombone, 9th Graders Josie Larsen on Clarinet and Bradie Gray on Euphonium, and 10th Grader Natalie Haggard on Euphonium. It is a very tough competition and we're very proud of all our students that auditioned.
The All-School Christmas Program is set for Monday, December 19 at 6:30 P.M. in the game gym. It's a busy time, so let the KHS Band Boosters do the cooking for you!! There will be a loaded baked potato meal with dessert for $5.00 starting at 4:30 and serving continued until just before the program starts. There will also be a silent auction with some great items from places such as Bath and Body Works, The Basket Kase, Scorpion Coats, 2 OKC Thunder Tickets!! and many other awesome things. AFTER the concert, don't forget to pick up one of the great casseroles you ordered from the Band Boosters.
