Principal's Corner

Tahquitz Families,

Welcome to semester two! It's hard to believe we are more than halfway through the school year. I would like to thank our students, parents, and community members for all of their support during these challenging times. As we continue to move forward, we encourage parents to be vigilant in monitoring student grades through Aeries. Let's make sure our students finish strong!

Our focus remains to cultivate a positive climate and create the best learning environment possible. High-quality teaching and learning are our highest priorities. Once again, the partnership between school and home is a vital ingredient in student success, and never has it been more important than right now. With that said, we hope our students are feeling safe and supported. If you have any questions or concerns, we want to hear from you.

We feel confident we are moving in the right direction, and we are grateful for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Kari McGowan

Principal

Tahquitz National and Local Scholarship Information:

What is a scholarship and how does it work?

Scholarships are financial aid awards designed to help students pay for an undergraduate degree. Sometimes a scholarship is a one-time check. Other school scholarships are renewable and provide money for students each semester or school year. These awards differ from student loans in that they don't have to be repaid.

If you would like more information please visit our website scholarship page, click on the link below, or email Mrs. Chavez at echavez1@hemetusd.org.
