SENIOR SEMINARS for the Class of 2022
All seniors who plan to submit college applications must attend one Senior Seminar. Seniors can make an appointment for their individual senior conference after attending a Senior Seminar. Learn the process for submitting your college application! This is the first step toward completing the college application process.
Senior Seminars will cover:
Starting the application process
Matching your Common App with Naviance
Requesting electronic recommendations
Timelines and necessary paperwork
Senior Seminars are in the UHS Fishbowl/Cafeteria LGI during Lunch & Learn on:
Wednesday, September 8th
Thursday, September 9th
Friday, September 10th
Monday, September 13th
Students are welcome to eat their lunch during the seminar.
Registration is not required.
Financial Aid Night
When: September 21st from 6:00 to 7:00pm
Where: UHS Auditorium
Who: Parents of 11th and 12th graders

Girls in Action Summit on October 2nd
The Fund for Women and Girls has rescheduled our Girls in Action Summit for Saturday, October 2nd, from 9:00 am-12:30 pm at the Melton Center in West Chester. A flyer with more information and a registration link is attached.
We are thrilled to welcome Lynette Medley, Founder and CEO of No More Secrets, as Keynote Speaker. Lynette is an advocate and expert on period poverty; she recently opened the nation's first crowdfunded menstrual hub in Philadelphia.

VFW Voice of Democracy Essay Contest
The Voice of Democracy Program sponsored by Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), is open to students in grades 9-12 (Oct. 31 deadline), who are enrolled in a public, private or parochial high school or home study program in the United States and its territories. We want to reach as many patriotic students as possible to compete for the National grand prize: $30,000 paid directly to the American college, university or vocational/technical school of their choice!
