ELA - Mrs. Swisher

This week, we have finished up our speech preparations, and my students are ready to give their TED Talk speeches next week! They have worked very diligently on their research, and I can’t wait to hear their expertise on their chosen Seven Wonder.

Next week, we will spend most of the week giving speeches, and providing feedback to one another in regards to their speech.

Please remember to encourage your child to read for at least 15 minutes every night!! Thank you!!

Math - Mrs. Finger

We have enjoyed getting to know Ms. Neely who is substituting for Mrs. Finger. If you need to contact Ms. Neely regarding math, please email her at:

Science - Ms. Peterson

This week we have studied Physical and Chemical Changes with a few fun experiments you can ask your student about. Our last section of our Matter Unit we have begun which is Mixtures and Solutions and methods for separating mixtures. Students will be given a Take Home Summative Assessment on Wednesday, March 11. This is an open book/open notes assessment and is due the Monday after Spring Break. I am strongly encouraging students to complete it this week and turn it in the Friday before break.
