Many of our universities and laboratory schools benefited from the collaborative conversations happening through these Zoom gatherings. Classroom teachers and school leaders are invited to join the following talks. The IALS Board has designed follow-up sessions to help you as you work toward creating positive opportunities for those you serve and for yourself. Please RSVP to the meetings you wish to join. You are welcome to attend one or all, as well as send this invitation along to other colleagues you think may be interested.
IALS Second Round of Topics:
Report cards and assessment, conferencing with families
Teacher forum

Plan for the worst, hope for the best
Post COVID world? Teacher ed and preparing for kids we will receive
Possible second teacher forum, possible reflection and public purpose
Agenda Design
- Each Topic will be discussed through the use of two breakout questions
- Each Participant/Group Representative will add to the notes of the PowerPoint to be shared with the group at the end of the meeting
- We will begin the meeting together and break out in rooms for topic question 1, come back together for review and have a new breakout group for topic question 2.
Topic 1: Wrapping Up- Year End Assessments, Report Cards and Saying Goodbye
Question 1 - How are the evaluative measures we use changing in response to children’s ability to access and engage with distance education?
Question 2 -What do we hope to communicate to families with year end reports and conferences?
