National School Counseling Week
Did you know that School Counselors are no longer referred to as Guidance Counselors? This is because their jobs have evolved from focusing on vocational guidance to focusing on academic, career, and social/emotional development. In addition to their students, School Counselors work with teachers, parents, administrators, outside counseling agencies and other stakeholders.
Thank you to our seven school counselors Mr. Bowles, Mrs. Jackson, Mr. Johnston, Mrs. Leja, Mrs. Rullo, Mrs. Saba and Mrs. Schneider for all you do for our students and school community!
WPIAL, Dunkin’ Announce High School Counselor of the Year Award
