Best Place to Visit By: Amanpreet Dhillon
The Western Cordillera is the best place to visit
Have you ever wondered which place is worth visiting in Canada. Well from what I have heard, the Western Cordillera is problably one of the best places to visit. I went to the U.S.A over the summer and asked the people there what place would they visit in Canada if they had the chance to go, most of them said British Columbia. I asked them "Why British Columbia?" and they said because of the Western Cordillera. First I did not know why they said the Western Cordillera, then I remembered a trip to British Columbia I went to.
Why the Western Cordillera?
The Western Cordillera was is so beautiful. The mountains, wildlife, and and just the surroundings are beautiful. The view from the mountains are just amazing and there are so many things you can see and do in the wild side of the Western Cordillera. Some fun things to do in the wild is Hiking, Fishing, Canoeing, Swimming, and Sports. During the winter the Western Cordillera has some of the best Ski and Snowboarding resorts you can go to so you can have fun all year long.
Are you more of a city person?
If you are more of a city person there are things you can still do. The Western Cordillera has some of the beautiful cities you can visit. One of the cities you can visit is Vancouver, there are so many thins you can do. If you have the guts, you can walk the Capilano Suspension Bridge, 137 meters across a canyon and 70 meters below is the Capilano River. If you are not into heights you can always visit the Vancouver Aquarium which is home to over 70,000 amazing creatures. If still don't find anything interesting and are into cool technological things you, have to try FlyOver Canada which is a flight simulation ride like no other with the latest projection and includes wind, scent, and mist.

Still not satisfied?
So you are still second-thinking about where to go, there are many other cities you can go to that are in the Western Cordillera, but the one I recommend is Victoria. Victoria is one of those cities that has the most beautiful scenery all around the city but still has a high-end city for your convenience. If you want do something with nature and not the city, you can visit The Gardens at Horticulture Centre of the Pacific, a 10 acre garden which consists over 10,000 varieties of plants. You can walk or cycle the 93 acre Conservational park through wetlands, forests, and fields. If you are more into the city, than you can visit IMAX Victoria in the Royal BC Museum. This is the largest screen in all of BC. With this kind of IMAX, not only will you just see the movie, you will experience it. The big screen and powerful, chair shaking surround sound will take you places you can only dream of. If you want both nature and city Victoria has an adventurous attraction for you, the Adrena Line Zipline Adventure. This zipline will take you through a fully-guided, 2 hour zipline course through a diverse coastal rainforest.
