“We Mustache Mize Hawks Not to Bully or Do Drugs.” Spirit Week – October 5-9, 2015.
The month of October marks the nationwide recognition campaigns for Bully Prevention and Drug Awareness. Our goal is to empower Mize Hawks with the knowledge they need to stop bullying in our community and teach skills for living healthy, drug-free lives. We will be kicking off our month long celebration with a Spirit Week – October 5-9, 2015. Throughout the week, “We Mustache Mize Hawks Not to Bully or Do Drugs.” Spirit days will be as follows:
De Soto USD232 named the BEST School District in Kansas!
“The ratings are based on student math and reading proficiency on state assessment tests, with a few other institutional factors considered as well (i.e. student-teacher ratio, student discipline, etc.). Each state’s selection for “Best School District” is determined by the highest average Smart Rating of all the schools in the district. Districts that have only one school or have charter schools were not included.” – msn.com
SAVE THE DATE!! ARTrageous Night is coming in November!
Are you looking for a fun night out with your kids? Artrageous Nights may be just what you’re looking for! What Goes On In the Art Room?
Mrs. Souders invites all parents and their students to stop into the art room during parent/teacher conferences. Check out what your student is working on now! Find out how iPads are being used as a creative medium to teach elements of art and principals of design. Mrs. Souders would love to meet you and answer any questions you have about the art curriculum. She is available on Thursday, September 24, 11:00 am – 8:00 pm. Just drop in…no appointment needed.
