Valentine's Day Party-In-A-Box
Looking for volunteers to plan holiday parties for each grade.
Thanks to COVID, the holiday party is going to be held in each classroom this year. We are looking for volunteers to take the lead in planning, organizing and delivering a Party-In-A-Box for each classroom. Each grade will have the same activities planned so that each grade has the same experience but a separate box for each classroom. The teachers will implement the party on party day.
What's in the box?
- Snacks and drinks
- A craft, instructions and supplies
- 2 games/activities with instructions, supplies and conscious of social distancing
- Supplies be separated/sorted in goodie bags ready to be handed out to students.
Suggestions for organizing:
- Coordinate with the teachers in each grade to see what they think is doable and provide all information before party day (2/11/21).
- Coordinate with Nurse Jessie on any food allergies in each grade as you plan the snacks. jnbrown@spsmail.org
- Create a sign-up genius to ask for donations of supplies/money from parents in those grades.
- This does not have to be a one man job. Find someone to help.
