Fun Food Friday Volunteers Needed

We have another Fun Food Friday coming up on Friday, October 1st. The students will have an opportunity to purchase (cash only) candy, chips, and drinks. We need our volunteers! This is a great opportunity for you to come see the kids during their lunch. Sign up to let us know when you can help out

1st Marking Period Report Cards

Secondary students’ report cards will be official 09/29/2021 and electronically viewable after 10 a.m. in the Home Access Center (HAC). To view the electronic grade report, please click on the “Grades” icon – IPR or Report Card Tab. Should you need assistance in accessing an electronic grade notification, please complete this form and a member of the technology team will contact you: Parent and Student Technology Support Center.

Jaguar Academy-Tuesdays and Thursdays

WMJH teachers will be available for Jag Academy on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week from 4:10-5:00 PM. Math, ELA, Science and Social Studies teachers will be available to offer help with homework, offer tutorials, and catch up on missing assignments. For our eligible bus riders, we will run a late bus that will leave WMJH at 5 PM to take your child to the designated drop-off spot.

Who: Students in Grades 6-8

When: Every Tuesday and Thursday

Where: LGI Classroom inside the Library

Why: Help with homework, make-up missing assignments, extra reading and math tutorials.

Campus Advisory Team Volunteers Needed

Are you interested in learning more about the planning and organization of the school? Would you be interested in being a member of the Campus Advisory Team? This group meets only four times a year for about an hour. The purpose of this group is to serve in an advisory capacity by being involved in decisions in areas of planning, budgeting, curriculum, staffing patterns, staff development and school organization. Health Services and Vaccine Options

All students enrolled in Katy ISD must be in compliance with state required immunizations. Immunization requirements can be found on the Katy ISD Health Services Immunizations page. Katy ISD Health Services Department is partnering with Texas Vaccine Institute is proud to announce a low cost, immunization opportunity for our students who may need state required vaccines for school attendance or who may want to take advantage of receiving the optional, Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at no cost or the Flu vaccine for $15.00.

PRICE: $15 for one immunization; $25 for two, $30 for three or more for the REQUIRED STATE IMMUNIZATIONS

BRING: Campus Nurse provided “PARENT NOTIFICATION OF IMMUNIZATION DUE NOTIFICATION" form, Child’s Personal Immunization Record, Insurance Card if insured

Accepting Cash/Credit/Debit Cards

OPTIONAL VACCINES: Pfizer COVID vaccine at NO COST, provide insurance card if insured. FLU vaccine for $15.00

Intermittent School to Home Academic Support

Students who attend in-person learning and test positive for COVID-19, elect to isolate due to COVID, or any other medical condition requiring an extended absence, will have access to the Intermittent Home to School learning option, allowing students to access and stay current on assignments through the Katy ISD Learning Management System (Canvas). Intermittent School to Home is not a virtual program, such as KVA, and students cannot exceed a total of 20 cumulative days utilizing this option.

Student Covid Testing

Katy ISD, in conjunction with the Texas Education Agency, continues to provide free Covid-19 testing to any school age student. Parental/Guardian permission is required for all students below the age of 18 prior to testing as well reservations to reserve a time slot for your student.
