Walnut ASB Hosts Stress Relief Week!
This week and next week, Walnut ASB will be holding stress relief week as our students gear up for Finals. Our students were served hot chocolate, did chalk art, had a chance to take a nap, did Zumba, and will continue next week to make bracelets, play with puppies, decorate cookies, and create slime.

Chinese-American Parents Association of Walnut Donates $6,000
Today the Chinese-American Association of Walnut donated $6,000 to benefit students and staff at Walnut High School. The funds donated will go directly to classroom materials that benefit our teachers, students, and classroom instruction. Thank you!

WHS Club LIFT Inspiring Future Leaders!
On a Wednesday, a troop of Walnut High students walked to Suzanne Middle School prepared to ignite about 20 students with creative cheers, team building activities, and meaningful discussions.

Congratulations to our Girls/Boys Wrestling program as well as our Boys' Soccer program for beating a cross-town rival, Diamond Bar High School, this week.
Walnut Choir December Concert - Dec. 6- 7
MAKING A DIFFERENCE...ONE CAN AT A TIME!
Walnut High School Key Club is partnering up with Diamond Bar High School to host its annual food drive. Kiwanis will be adding boxes of holiday ham, fresh vegetables, and canned foods to over 125 families in need.
You can do your part by donating non-perishable goods at the following locations:

-WHacappella Benefit Concert in the Walnut High School MPR (Dec. 15th 5 PM)

Tardy Sweep
Our GLCs will be conducting random Tardy Sweeps starting this month to stress the importance of being on time. A tardy sweep will happen anytime during the day or before school. If a student is caught in a tardy sweep, they will be assigned a detention. Please remind students of the importance of being punctual and in class, on time, and prepared.
LobbyGuard check-in has officially started!
To continue keeping the safety of our students a top priority, Walnut Valley Unified School District imoplemented a new visitor management system beginning November 1.
“Our goal is to continue to provide a welcoming and warm environment for our parents, teachers, students, and staff while simultaneously communicating a culture of safety and security to the community,” said Superintendent Dr. Robert Taylor
Visitors will continue to be required to present identification to office staff.
Accepted forms of identification include:
- State issued driver’s license or identification card,
- Matricular Consular card,
- Military ID (active duty or retired)
- Permanent resident card.
School Lunch Policy
Due to safety concerns, we DO NOT accept student lunches in the office. We understand the importance of student nutrition, but we encourage students to either purchase lunch at school or bring their lunch from home. Food, drinks, or other items are NOT to be passed to students through the fence. This is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
Please Note: Parents can now access the Food Services Department from our website under the Parents tab. On that page, parents can set up and deposit funds into their student's lunch account for purchasing lunch on campus.
