UC Davis

Please add this blurb to your UC, Common App or any other application!

You may cut and paste this blurb into you college applications. This will explain Sonoma Valley High School's spring 2020 grade policy as well as our fall 2020 plans.

Sonoma Valley High School (SVHS) adopted a Credit/No Credit policy for the Spring 2020 Semester as a result of school closures due to Covid-19. Sonoma Valley Unified School District moved to a Distance Learning policy for the Fall 2020 Semester. Students will be issued grades and credits based on class participation, homework and testing. A-F grades will be issued at the end of the Fall 2020 Semester. SVHS will resume in-class instruction, hybrid or regular, when it is safe to return to the classroom.

Students may cut and paste the above policy into the "additional comments" or under the additional comments section of the academic history portion of the UC application. Students may also use this blurb for any college applications - please use in the most appropriate segment of the college application.
