Lincoln Middle School -- Weekend Update
Hello Lincoln Community,
This has been a full week at Lincoln! It's always great to see the Lions in school, and many things are happening, as well as new opportunities that are gearing up. Additional clubs and activities for the Lions to get involved in after school are listed below.
The three of us are excited to share that we have a new date for our "meet the administrative team" meet and greet. We will be available on October 16 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the LRC before the PTO meeting. All families are welcome and invited to come to this drop-in session. Again, we aim to connect with the community and get to know more parents. We hope you'll be able to join us!
We hope everyone enjoys the three-day weekend, and we look forward to seeing the Lions back in the building on Tuesday.
In Partnership,
Eric Larson, Laena DiVito, and Jason Jonas

Principal Advisory Council | Lincoln Students
Lincoln Students!
This year, we're introducing the Principal Advisory Council, and I want YOU to be a part of it. Your input is critical in making Lincoln Middle School an even better place!
What is the Principal Advisory Council? It's a brand-new opportunity for students like you to meet with me and discuss how we can enhance student culture and the middle school experience at Lincoln.
When and How Often Do We Meet? We'll gather once a month after school. Depending on the level of interest, it could be the same group each time or a mix of different students throughout the year.
What's the Goal? Our goal is to gather your valuable feedback on important school matters and, who knows, maybe even turn your ideas into exciting school improvement projects!
Who Can Join? I am aiming to have approximately 6-8 students from each grade level on the Advisory Council. All you need to bring is your opinions and ideas – they matter!
If this sounds like something you'd love to be a part of, simply fill out this form. Make sure to complete it by the end of the day, Wednesday, September 27th. I'll personally get in touch with you to let you know if you've been selected to participate in the Advisory Council.
Your voice counts, and I can't wait to work together to make Lincoln Middle School an even more fantastic place for everyone!
The dates that we will be meeting after school are:
- October 10
- November 7
- December 5
- January 16
- February 20
- March 12
- April 16
- May 14
I'm really looking forward to working with this group! Please reach out to me if you have any questions at elarson@d57.org.

REPEAT INFORMATION
Important PHS Rule Regarding Spectators at Football Games
Prospect High School has a strict policy for pre-high school age students at football games to minimize behavioral issues with unsupervised kids at games. While we are excited to have future Knights support our football team, dance team, cheer team, and band, safety is our highest priority at all times. Please adhere to the following:
- Pre-high school age students will only be admitted with their parent/guardian. Groups and drop offs are NOT allowed. Pre-purchased online tickets will NOT be honored nor refunds granted for individuals not meeting this criteria.
- Pre-high school age students must sit with their parent/guardian.
- Parental/guardian notification will occur if pre-high school age students are unsupervised and/or creating behavioral issues.
Thank you for your continued support of Prospect HS and your partnership in creating a safe game day atmosphere for all guests.
