This past week, the Bloomingdale School District received revised public health guidance. The Illinois Department of Public Health is revising the recommendation for social distancing for in-person learning. Social distance for in-person learning is now defined as 3 to 6 feet for students. The Bloomingdale School District will social distance students in the classroom at the new recommended 3 to 6 feet. Important Note: Students will be required to maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet during lunch when masks are removed for eating. The new recommendations will allow more students to attend In Person Learning 5 days a week. The new social distance revisions will go into effect after spring break. Look for more information in the coming weeks.
Parents will still need to certify the health of their children through the Raptor system via email each and every morning that they are in-person for the remainder of the school year.
Call Mr. Dwyer at 630-894-9200 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions regarding in-person attendance.
