Fables

What is a Fable?

A fable is a type of story passed down from person to person. Fables are usually short stories that are meant to teach us a lesson. This lesson is called the moral of the story, very similar to theme. Fables usually have animal characters that act like people. An example of a fable that you might know is The Tortoise and the Hare.
