Weekly Reflections
Time to teach
Hello,
Someone quoted last week that a lot of discipline has been cleaned up...now "it's time to teach." I could totally agree with this statement. It is definitely time for us to focus and run good strategies and practices as needed. We need to really focus on our practices. We know that kids are going to be kids, but we can continue to develop our instruction by teaching with passion. It is okay to have fun teaching! Make your lessons engaging and relevant for our students. Accelerate and remediate as needed too.
My goal is to have a Principal's Instructional Leaderhship Lockdown Focus Time (PILL Focus) where the majority of my day (at least once per week but could be more) is surrounded by teaching and learning to include PLCs and professional learning. We have push our students to higher heights this semester.
Assignments will be mostly virtual for our book study. They will be given during the 2nd school week of January (week of the 13th)
Journals: They will be used to reflect on each chapter. Your reflection should include an action step that you will take or continue to do. We will begin activities with the book study after the break.
