Eastview Hosts Hour of Code! Dec. 9-13
Eastview Learning Commons is hosting the Hour of Code! This year's theme is LEARN COMPUTER SCIENCE. CHANGE THE WORLD. To celebrate National Computer Science Education Week we will be joining millions of students and teachers throughout the world to explore coding.
Computer Science is present in virtually every career field. Today's Computer Science is more than just creating the software or writing the code. Computer Science builds skills in problem solving and allows for creativity like never before.
Students of all experience levels can choose activities including themes from Minecraft, Star Wars, and Frozen. Coding is a fun way to learn real life skills in the computer science field. Students may stop by the Learning Commons before or after school, during lunch or a study hall to complete their Hour(s) of Code. Students have a chance to win prizes and be entered in a drawing for gift cards and other prizes. Stop by the Learning Commons for more details!
