The GMAS will begin April 19th and we have begun our intercession period to ensure that our students are ready.
Parents, you can help us by ensuring that your students log in everyday on time.
This Wednesday we will begin our new schedule; students are required to log in from 11:00-1:00
Students will receive a grade and attendance will be taken.
The board recently approved students to return to the building. If you would like for your student to participate in our 3/2 hybrid model, call the school to add their name on the list.
Carter G. Woodson is known as the “Father of Black History.” He holds an outstanding position in early 20th century American history. Woodson authored numerous scholarly books on the positive contributions of Blacks to the development of America.

It's Basketball Season !
Basketball tryouts will start on Monday, February 22, 2021. Girls tryouts will be from 2:30p.m to 3:30p.m. Boys tryouts will be from 3:45p.m to 5:00p.m. Students must have a physical on file to participate. For further details contact the Athletic Director, Mr. Craig Johnson at 912-395-5900.

32ND ANNUAL SAVANNAH BLACK HERITAGE FESTIVAL
The Savannah Black Heritage Festival is presented by Savannah State University with investments by the City of Savannah.32 Years of Cultural Arts. The Savannah Black Heritage Festival is a professionally produced, multi-disciplinary festival. The focus of the festival is to present performances, exhibits and activities that attract a broad cross-section of age, social-economic and ethnically diverse residents in Savannah and its outlying areas as well as visiting tourists.
