On-Site Testing
We have started offering an On-site COVID-19 Testing center at the ECC District Office on weekdays from 7am to 3pm for students, staff, and family/household members of positive student or staff cases or anyone deemed a close contact.
If you are contacted by our main office at the school that your child is symptomatic and needs to be picked up or released from school, you now have the opportunity between 7am to 3pm to take your child to the ECC District Office for COVID-19 testing. HIGH SCHOOL ONLY - We will continue to have On-Site Testing at Franklin High School during weekdays from 7am to 3pm for high school students through our health office located there.
Please review this document for other details and questions you may have about how this will work. Testing is another mitigation strategy to help us reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our schools.

ACT Exam: March 8th
All Juniors will be taking the ACT exam on March 8th, 2022. The state required ACT exam provides an excellent opportunity for all Juniors to demonstrate their college and career ready skills, as this exam is reportable to colleges. It is our school goal, that upon graduation, all Franklin High School students are prepared for their post-secondary goals. In addition to daily learning through their classes, students also have access to an online program, Method Test Prep, to help them to prepare for this exam.
Method Test Prep, available through Xello, allows students to engage in subject specific practice. In addition, the program will highlight areas of strength and allow for dedicated practice toward growth areas. The program provides standard specific practice and instructional videos. Method Test Prep also allows each student to engage in two full practice exams. In addition to engaging in ACT preparation through Method Test Prep, all students can engage in full ACT practice exams by simply using their chromebook. By opening the “apps” tab, students can access the TestNav software and will find ACT practice exams available for their use.
Please feel free to reach out with any and all questions. We are available and eager to assist students in their preparation for this measure.
