Howdy Wrangler Parents,
We have completed our first 9-week period and I am very proud of our Wrangler Scholars for doing their absolute best! Students will be on Fall Intersession Break until Monday, October 18th and return on Tuesday, October 19th.
Accelerated Learning Camp
If your child was invited to Accelerated Learning Camp, please ensure they attend.
It is especially important for our students in 4th and 5th grade if they didn't pass their BOY assessment or their STAAR from last year. These students fall under the new House Bill 4545 which requires them to attend.
Students with excessive absences are also being invited to attend Intersession Accelerated Learning Academies due to Loss of Credit.
For questions on Intersession Accelerated Learning Academy and transportation, please contact Assistant Principal, Ms. Tristan at 915-937-8103.
Please see Intersession Activity Days and Transportation information below.
Fun Fall Accelerated Learning Camp October 4 to October 8, 2021 from 8-12. We will be having a variety of fun activities throughout the week. Transportation is offered for those students who regularly ride the bus. Students may bring their lunch and or a snack.
Reading/Math Camp Events:
- Monday, October 4- Cozy Day- Wear your Pajamas
- Tuesday, October 5- Super Hero Day – Wear Superhero Shirt
- Wednesday, October 6 – Flashlight fun – bring a flashlight and Wear Pink
- Thursday, October 6- Wear your favorite football team shirt
- Friday, October 7 – Wear Orange or Fall Attire.
HB4545 Parent Meeting
Thank you to all the parents that attended one of the three House Bill 4545 Information Meetings we presented. We will have another one after intersession to keep you informed of requirements in the House Bill that passed that will impact our 4th and 5th graders.
