CCS HEALTH OFFICE UPDATE from Nurse Strazzeri:
Thank you students, parents/guardians and staff for helping make the transition into this school year successful! The students and staff members did an amazing job wearing their masks and following the guidelines.
Please remember to call the school office if your child will be late or absent from school (EVEN ON REMOTE DAYS).
Cross Country/Sports Update: following NHIAA Guidelines, phase 3.
ALL Staff, volunteers, officials, and athletes must have their temperature checked and complete a Covid-10 Checklist prior to each competitive sporting event, training sessions, or practice. Checklists/Thermometers will be made available.
Please wait for the temperature check/screening checklist to be completed before dropping your child off and leaving.
Social distancing, mask and cleaning/disinfecting requirements/guidelines will be followed.
As soccer takes shape over this week, Ms. Snider will be sending out further updates.
You can plan to look for a weekly Health Office update on Mondays. Please feel free to call or email me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Strazzeri
School Nurse

Staff Spotlight
Mrs. Miner, Paraprofessional Years at CCS: 10 Fun Facts: In the summer of 2019, our family spent one day at Franconia Notch State Park and three days at the Great Falls Balloon Festival in Lewiston Maine as volunteer crew members with the Smokey Bear Hot Air Balloon! The balloon came all the way out from Albuquerque, New Mexico to celebrate Smokey's 75th birthday. Although the balloon did not fly due to weather, we assisted with inflating and deflating the balloon several times. We also helped raise several thousand dollars selling souvenirs to help support the balloon. It was an amazing experience. Family: My husband Doug and I will celebrate 25 years together in November. We have two daughters, Sarah, 19, and Allison, 16, and a big spoiled cat , Comet. Hobbies: I love to spend time outside with my family hiking, camping, walking, and gardening. I also love to read and play card or board games with my family. Favorite CCS Tradition: Field day. I love getting outside and having fun! Other: I started out 10 years ago as a substitute. Three years later I became a paraprofessional. I am now taking classes to become a certified special education teacher. | Mrs. Strazzeri, School Nurse Years at CCS: 5 Fun Facts: I played 4 years of varsity field hockey, basketball and softball in High School. My favorite holiday is Christmas. I LOVE watching Hallmark Christmas movies. My husband and son are New York Giants and New York Mets fans. My daughter and I are NE Patriots and Red Sox fans. Our son, Michael, is a Sophomore at PA and our daughter, Ava, is a 7th grader at CCS. Hobbies: My family! I love hanging out with them, watching them play sports and playing board games.
