What does HIV and AIDS stand for?
HIV stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus. The virus destroys a type of helper cell in the body, called the CD4 helper lymphocyte. The condition in which people are immune deficient is called acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).
How is this disease transmitted?
AIDS is transmitted through oral, vaginal, and anal sexual intercourse. It can also be transmitted through sharing needles from drugs and tattooing.

Ways to Prevent HIV?AIDS
