An event for THE WHOLE Ignatius Farm Community
Come celebrate the opening of the community gardens!
Time to find your garden plot and get your hands dirty! This is a great chance to catch up with friends and eat delicious food in the sunshine. Join the singalong with Sam Turton and hear about new social initiatives happening in the gardens. Get some beautiful designs on your face and hands and buy some organic seedlings that will feed you all season. Come be a part of your local farm ecosystem!!!

Garden Plot Orientations:
9:30am- annual 100-300 sq feet garden plots
10:30am- annual 500 sq feet or larger garden plots
11:30am- perennial and biennial garden plots
New Social Initiatives in the Gardens:
12:00pm- Introduction to gardening projects that will benefit Syrian Refugees in Guelph with Satish. Introduction to Ignatius Community Gardeners Connect with Lisa.
Music
12:30pm- Singalong and musical performance with Sam Turton
Food, Fun, Seedlings and Mulch
11am-2pm- Lunch vendors, children's activities and henna designs available
10am-3:30pm- Seedlings, compost, mulch, seed potatoes and onions for sale
Trout Lily Organics seedlings and Ignatius Farm compost, mulch, seed potatoes and onions will be for sale. Laza Food & Beverage and Fairly Frosted Cupcakes vendors will be on site selling a delicious lunch. Robin Marshall will be on site for beautiful henna designs.
